Keeping on top of my illustrations and practicing my styles I have created a few more 'heads'.

This first three I was bringing together my use of cross hatching and watercolour to create a more dense  and interesting look

Below drawing is one of my fav's, I like the way that the cross hatching can be seen. I think that the technique used on the hair needs improvement!

Second style.... A more intense colour with watercolour and fine liner. Using extra lines on the face create a doll like look to my 'heads'

The below image is one of the best I did in this session. I feel it has quite a life like look to it and the hair is more hair like than the others. 

My third style is very minimalistic, one line and one or two simple feature.

I find this hard to link with outfits as it is so minimal. 

Above and below are the best of this style. One feature works best.

Illustrating Heads

Illustration set work of designing ten heads and finding your own style. 

Here I am demonstrating and still developing what I have found to be my own style.

Using watercolour and fine liner has always been a good way for me, yet perhaps it is too comfortable?

I will lead on from here to design so more heads in other medias to test my skills and see if there is another way that would be good for me to illustrate and become a more vast and talented designer.

A face that always makes me smile

Due to late nights with his job I don't see this face too much currently. 

Returning home while I am sleeping then me leaving for uni while he is fast asleep is one of the downsides of such a contrasting life-style. One day this may pay off for us though, maybe one day I will be a working from home designer and he will have his own bar downstairs. 

We can only dream .
